Job Description

With an expanding international client base, the candidate will join an experienced, creative studio to lead the overall design and delivery of exciting and often unconventional projects from inception through to development and completion. We are looking for an individual who is creative and driven and who loves design, showing initiative and leadership.

Applicants must have a high level of experience and expertise in directing multiple projects.

Candidates are offered a creative working environment with room for professional growth.

Your Role

As a Studio Team Leader and key member of the practice, you will work very closely with the Design Director in the overseeing of Designers and Project Managers while often presenting to clients and consultants. You will work in a highly design focused environment and have the opportunity to be involved in the evolution of projects both in Ireland and abroad.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the client interface, design and detail design of multiple projects
  • Direct multiple project teams in design, development and delivery
  • Guide and manage junior members of the team and their output
  • Work collaboratively with technical consultants, project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
  • Develop and oversee the production of 2D and 3D drawings for internal and client presentations
  • Manage the production of feasibility studies including the space planning and layouts in line with client and regulatory requirements
  • Drive the conceptual design of both urban and rural schemes at all scales, articulating the justification of their form while demonstrating their functionality and cost-efficiency

You should be:

  • A creative problem solver
  • Extremely talented in the design and management of architectural projects with a mixed portfolio of work across various sectors
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional levels of design ability and be able to sketch ideas to a high level
  • Highly enthusiastic about cutting-edge design and have a ‘design-led’ approach when making decisions
  • Experienced in high end projects with fine details is advantageous
  • Able to articulate your ideas with hand drawings and 3D
  • Experienced in detail design, documentation and procurement
  • Proactive and energetic

You should have:

  • Been working as an Architect on the RIAI Register of Architects / person eligible to seek registration as an architect without further assessment with site experience on medium to large scale developments
  • A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
  • Excellent knowledge / experience of Contract Administration and Building Regulations
  • Great organisational skills
  • An ability to multitask and manage projects at various work stages
  • Strong communication skills and be confident facing clients and contractors
  • Proven experience designing and delivering built projects
  • Proficiency of working with AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Suite are a pre-requisite

Job Description

With an expanding international client base, the candidate will join an experienced, creative Studio to develop and deliver client and project presentations and visualisations for ongoing and future design projects, both nationally and internationally.

We are looking for an individual who is creative and driven and who loves design, showing initiative and leadership.

Applicants must have a high level of experience and expertise in Graphic Design and be familiar with working in a fast paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.

Immediate start working from our Dublin studio and from home.

Your Role

  • You will be responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design and solutions that meet our studio and client requirements, from concept to completion.
  • You will be an Illustrator and InDesign expert and have good Photoshop experience.
  • Ability to work within a team, to communicate with the Design Director and Design team are crucial.
  • To prioritise your workload in order to deliver on time will be vital.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and produce a variation of designs for different applications
  • Follow guidelines and art directions
  • Work on visuals and presentations
  • Following briefings, ability to be prolific and deliver fresh and creative design
  • Review and quality check artwork prior to client delivery
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Design Director, Design Team and other internal partners to produce visually compelling presentations
  • Prioritise work and handle projects from concept to delivery

You should have:

  • Strong previous experience working as a Graphic Designer or a similar position in a fast-paced environment (ideally 4+ years)
  • High level of proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Highly creative
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to absorb a large amount of information and concepts, flexibility is key
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, to manage own workload and meet deliveries
  • Highly organised and proactive in approach
  • Excellent communication skills
