Mortar and More were tasked with redesigning Northumberland Dental Care’s vacant dental surgeries. Our challenge was to turn them into spacious, light-filled rooms where patients could feel welcome and at ease.
The approach was simple and unobtrusive to respect the building’s Victorian protected elements, such as the beautifully preserved stained-glass windows and traditional mouldings. To create a calming environment, greys and whites were used as a soothing colour base, and furnishings with natural timber textures were added to create an aesthetically inviting and comforting space.

We chose to retain and preserve some of the elements inherent at the time of the building’s construction, creating a bright and modern interior spotlighting the technological efficiency of the clinic.
